Word Thief Collection

The Word Thief Card Series are fun, engaging games to help students master the essential high frequency (Dolch/Fry) words that account for up to 75% of the words we read. There are five levels of Word Thief card games along with a Word Thief game with common phrases using high frequency words. Each Word Thief card game includes instructions, between 40-42 leveled high frequency words and game cards.

Word Thief card games can be played according to the published instructions or modified to suit family preferences. They are highly useful for teachers, educational assistants or learning coaches as engaging games for remedial or pull out support for struggling readers.
